Protechmasta Far Infrared Airmesh GP/Jump Saddle Pad combines FIR technology with sporty air mesh material and satin trim, creating a modern look to this saddle pad. Hook and loop D-ring straps to secure to the front of the saddle for ease and allow this saddle pad to be used on both regular saddles as well as mono flap designs. Dual option girth loops for a customisable fit. Featuring a tough extra reinforced girth patch for added durability. The air mesh outer material makes this saddle pad highly breathable, helping to keep your horse comfortable and making this pad quick to dry. Quilted design featuring internal layers of foam and poly filling make for a very lightweight but supportive saddle pad, providing comfort as well as helping with shock absorption. The ceramic infused FIR lining can help to relive muscle tension and sensitivity over the back and saddle area as well as assisting circulation and helping to regulate temperature.   

Question:  What is the Protechmasta range?

Answer: Far Infrared Technology - A naturalistic ceramic infused lining that emits a safe form of Far Infrared radiation, also known as Biogenetic Radiation, to the body, this is then reflected from the body creating a natural black body effect. Far infrared radiation is a natural process and is scientifically proven to assist blood circulation gently and safely, therefore, helping to reduce any swelling, ease muscle tension and support recovery and help in the prevention of injury.

Question: Does the Protechmasta material have to be in direct contact with the body?

Answer: Better results can be achieved when Protechmasta is in direct contact with the skin.

Question: Are the products machine washable?

Answer: Yes, Protechmasta products are machine washable. We recommend washing at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle and in a rug wash bag. Close all fastenings before washing. Please line dry naturally, do not tumble dry or iron.

Question: Do I need to introduce the products slowly?

Answer: We recommend that the Protechmasta products are introduced gradually to allow the body to adjust. For the first week use only for a maximum of four hours at a time, then introducing it for longer periods after a couple of weeks. For maximum results use as often as possible.

Question: Will Protechmasta overheat my horse?

Answer: The Protechmasta rug unlike a thermal rug or everyday horse rug, is impregnated with a Bio-ceramic material. This Bio-ceramic material is a combination of varied ceramics and mineral oxides which are bound together and heated to 3000 degrees. Once the material is cooled it becomes Bio-ceramic, and emits Far Infrared Energy (FIR).

When Bio-ceramic material is impregnated into the fibres of the rug and placed next to the skin of the equine Far Infrared radiation is produced. The primary source of energy required to stimulate FIR emissions comes from the equine's body. The ceramic nanoparticles in the rug become ‘perfect absorbers’ maintaining their temperature at adequate levels then offering FIR back to the equine's body. This ensures there is a constant emission and absorption of FIR to the equines skin, regulating temperature and preventing the opportunity of overheating when applied in ambient temperatures up to 25 degrees.

Question: Are Protechmasta products competition legal?

Answer: As competition rule books are updated on a regular basis we recommend that you check with the relevant governing bodies before use during competition.

Our delivery estimates are based on orders placed before 2pm. If you order on a weekend or a Bank Holiday, your order will be dispatched on the next working day.

UK Orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will be despatched the following Monday.

All personalised orders are subject to a £4.95 delivery charge, will be shipped separately and delivered to you within 14 working days.

Harry Hall Returns Policy

We offer a free 30 day returns promise. This means from receipt of your parcel; you have 30 days to return your products to us for a refund.

Please ensure original tags are attached to your returned items and take care when trying items that could be easily spoiled. We reserve the right to refuse a refund if goods are not returned in a saleable condition or are damaged.

Postage fees will not be refunded under the consumer rights act 2015. Returns from customers not a member of the One Club require the postage to be paid for at the post office or delivery provider by the customer.

Please note we do not arrange product exchanges and recommend that customers place a new order for any products or different sizes online after following the returns process below.

How to return your item(s):

For One Club members (free returns for Gold, Platinum and Bronze members):

  1. Log into your HarryHall.com shopping account and click ‘My Returns’
  2. Enter your order number and delivery postcode.
  3. Select the product to be returned and the return reason and submit the request.
  4. Your label containing a QR code will be generated. You can either print the label and attach to the parcel yourself, or download and take the digital version of your label to the post office on your mobile device where they will scan the QR code and print for you.
  5. Put your item or items along with your returns form into the same box or bag if possible and seal up securely.
  6. You can either arrange for the post office to collect your parcel from your home or work address for free with Parcel Collect, or you can take your package to your nearest Post Office. Remember to ask for a proof of return receipt.

For guest checkouts and non-members:

  1. Print and enclose your pick note or order confirmation
  2. Repackage your item using the bag it was delivered in where possible
  3. Attach our returns address as a shipping label:

  4. Take your parcel to your local post office or delivery provider, pay for the postage to return the item, and obtain a proof or postage receipt

Receiving refunds:

Once we receive your returned items, you should be refunded within 10 working days - please be aware this process can take up to 14 days during our peak periods. We will send you an email to confirm when the refund has been processed.

One Club Members will not be charged for the cost of return delivery - please note that non-members and guest checkouts will need to pay for the cost of delivering their return.

Faulty items:

All our stock is inspected to ensure it meets the incredibly high standards we have in place. Please accept our apologies if your item is faulty, please contact our customer service team on 01274 711011 or send images to contact@harryhall for us to support with a refund or replacement.

Returning from outside the UK:

Please use your local postal service to return the items. Complete the returns note included in your parcel and return to the following address:

We recommend you obtain proof of postage, unfortunately, we’re not able to refund returns costs from abroad.

Who covers the cost of returning my items?

If you are a One Club member the cost of returning your items is free when you use our online returns system.

If you require a refund and are not a One Club member you will need to pay for postage when returning the item.

Returning a rug:

If you have purchased a rug, when trying it on, please ensure your horse is clean and try it on with a thin sheet underneath. We are unable to accept returns that are dirty with mud, dust or horsehair due to hygiene reasons.

Returning a Dog Coat:

All dog coats to be eligible for a refund must be returned in their original condition; free from dog hair, not been washed or brushed. Please take extra care when trying the coat by making sure the dog is clean and using a towel or cloth to prevent hair and smells sticking to the coat. We are unable to accept returns that are dirty with mud, dust or hair due to hygiene reasons.

Bundles and Free Gift Returns:

  • For a full refund, please ensure all items from the bundle deal or free gift promotion are returned. If discounted items are returned meaning that the original promotion conditions are no longer met, the cost of the discount or free gift will be charged to the order.
  • Partial bundle returns will be refunded pro rata.
  • Free gifts must be returned with their parent product, in order to receive a full refund, otherwise the parent product will be refunded minus the free gift value.
  • Free gifts are not refundable on their own.
