The ultimate fly protection for summer seasons, the Masta Combo Sweet Itch Fly Rug with Belly Wrap offers head to tail protection from insects. Made from a soft close weave polyester fabric that remains highly breathable, allowing your horse to remain comfortable in warmer weather. The light coloured polyester fabric can help as a barrier to keep your horse protected from the sun whilst also preventing dark coats from sun bleaching. This is a multifunctional rug, ideal not just for turnout but can also be used as a stable sheet to keep your horse clean, free from dust as well as protected from irritating insects whilst in the stable.
The longer design of the integrated neck cover features fleece lined ear holes to give full coverage even when grazing, secured by hook and loop fastenings. The top strap has an elastic insert allowing for added comfort around the face. The wrap around belly provides extra protection to the more sensitive areas of the horse. Hook and loop fastenings join the belly wrap together whilst the surcingle’s pass through the loops to keep the wrap secure and in place.
Added anti-rub lining along the neck and over the shoulders helps prevent any unwanted rubbing and is comfortable against the horses skin. Secured in place with front surcingle chest straps and hook and loop fastening, also featuring a fillet string and an extra-large tail flap with tail loop make this rug a must have for the summer months.

How to fit
When fitting the Masta Sweet Itch Fly Rug ensure you meet the hook and loop fastenings together on the belly wrap and pass the surcingles through the black loops. This allows the belly wrap to comfortably keep in place under the horses belly and keeps the horse protected from flies and insects. Surcingles need to be fastened straight across and need to be adjusted so you can comfortable fit your hand between the strap and your horse's belly, if they are too tight they may cause discomfort by pulling the rug down too tight.
